Summer is the time of year when the promise of Scouting comes to life in all its glory. Summer means Scout summer camp!
As we prepare for thrill of camp, it is the perfect time to share with you a tailored approach to giving back to Scouting.
What’s the connection between Scout camp and giving?
Well, supporters like you have the option of establishing your own funds within Scouting to support causes you care about, like summer camp.
Funds can be endowed or expendable, provide camp scholarships or membership dues assistance for Scouts in need, offset camp operations, and so much more.
Here are just a few examples of funds that you can set up to support Scouting:
Camp Scholarship Endowed Fund
An endowed camp scholarship fund can be set up to provide camp scholarships to one or more young people in perpetuity.
ScoutReach Expendable Fund
An expendable fund that is intended to cover membership dues, uniforms, program supplies, and day camp for young people in need in our Council.
Camp Maintenance Endowed Fund
An endowed fund to support ongoing maintenance and capital needs of your favorite Scout camp in perpetuity.
You can name your fund, add to it over time, and even invite friends and family members to contribute to it to help it grow. You can even decide to contribute your estate gift to Scouting to your fund!
Get creative! Work with us to explore your passions and create a fund that supports the things you care about most in Scouting.
