During this holiday season, I’m reminded that gratitude is best expressed through service, a lesson Scouts live out every day. Across the country, young people are serving their neighbors, strengthening communities, and discovering the joy that comes from putting others first.
These moments of growth and goodness are only possible because of you. Your generosity fuels every hike, every badge earned, and every act of kindness extended in the name of Scouting. You make it possible for young people to explore boldly, lead confidently, and build lives rooted in character and compassion.
In my few months as Chief Development Officer, I’ve witnessed the heart of this movement, people like you who believe in the promise of America’s youth and the power of community. I’m deeply grateful to walk alongside you as we build a brighter future together. Thank you for all you do to keep Scouting strong, connected, and prepared for life.

Camp Pupukea’s next chapter as a year round retreat creates new opportunities for the Aloha Council and its community, opening new doors to learning, leadership, and service.
Fraud that targets seniors is a major issue. After her own grandfather was nearly a victim, Tejasvi Manoj knew there was more she could do to protect seniors in her community and around the world.
Across the nation, Scouts have removed more than 180,000 pounds of trash through Scouting for Clean Waterways. With partners like CleanHub and NOAA, they’re showing how each act of service protects our planet’s future.
For 50 years, Exploring Post 9269 has shaped servant leaders through mentorship and real-world experience. That legacy lives on through two Explorers who recently graduated from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Academy.
