As America marks its 250th birthday, Scouting America is reaffirming its support for military families by helping provide stability, community, and opportunity for youth whose families serve our nation.

From military communities across the United States to those stationed overseas, Scouting offers young people a sense of consistency, belonging, and growth during frequent moves, transitions, and deployments.

Starting on June 1, 2026, Scouting America will waive the $85 national registration fee for all new or renewing Scouts from active-duty, guard, and reserve military families.

Support through the Military Family Support Fund may also help offset additional expenses such as uniforms, summer camp, and high-adventure experiences, helping ensure military-connected youth can fully participate in the life-changing opportunities Scouting provides.
